Van Reenen Pass closed due to fatal crash

Van Reenen Pass on the N3 Toll Route is closed following a fatal crash involving two trucks and a light motor vehicle. The crash occurred between the Sand River and Pyramids Hotel. Emergency services and road incident management teams are at the scene, with motorists warned to expect significant traffic disruptions and delays as recovery and clean-up operations continue. “Please pay attention to and obey the instructions of law enforcement officers and approach the area with caution.
