Political parties asked to improve service delivery in Alexandra

The community of Alexandra, north of Johannesburg, has called on political parties to put their differences aside and work together to improve service delivery. Illegal dumping remains a challenge in Alexandra, with residents expressing concern about the health risks posed by the ongoing refuse crisis. Lerato Mopasi was speaking after casting his Special vote. Mopasi has urged community members to work with their councillors to help build a better society. “What needs to be done is that all political parties, especially here in Alexander Township, where we have about 70 or something, political parties and independent, candidate, participating for vote.
