JoyNews launches Tip-off initiative to amplify public concerns and expose wrongdoing

The Multimedia Group Limited’s JoyNews has launched a new initiative, JoyNews Tip-Off, to receive information from the public for investigative journalism and news reporting. The initiative is designed to provide a platform for people with information on issues of public interest to share them with the newsroom for further investigation and possible publication. Explaining the initiative, JoyNews investigative journalist Manasseh Azure said the decision was informed by the need to create an accessible channel for people who have information but may not know how to bring it to the attention of the media. He assured potential sources that JoyNews would take steps to protect their identities and ensure they are not compromised. Members of the public with information they believe deserves investigation or public attention can contact JoyNews Tip-Off via WhatsApp on 0257934478 or email joynewstipoff@myjoyonline.com . JoyNews is encouraging the public to use the platform to share credible information that could help uncover wrongdoing, promote accountability and bring important issues to public attention.
