SASSA KZN regional executive manager placed on suspension

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has placed its KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) Regional Executive Manager, Thamo Mzobe, on precautionary suspension. The suspension took effect on Wednesday, pending disciplinary proceedings relating to matters dating back to her tenure as Chief Executive Officer of the National Development Agency (NDA). SASSA has stressed that the suspension is an administrative measure and does not constitute a finding of guilt pending the outcome of the process.
