The 59-year-old teacher at Busisiwe Primary School is alleged to have raped the 9-year-old pupil in the school toilets earlier this month. Maile spoke to SABC News outside the courtroom. “The case has been postponed and for us it’s unfortunate because we would want this matter to be processed as soon as possible because a minor is involved and she’s very traumatized and affected. And we have already organized support but as we have said last week, we have instructed the school to deal with her issue cautiously whilst making sure that she also does not lose at school.” VIDEO | Teacher in court for allegedly raping a Grade 4 learner
