The case against two employees of North West businessman Suliman Carrim has been postponed to Friday at the Musina Magistrates’ Court in Limpopo. Musa Phiri and Zakes Ibrahim appeared separately as they are facing charges of fraud, attempted theft of motor vehicles and uttering. The case was postponed in order for the two to formally join Carrim when he returns to court on Friday. Phiri and Ibrahim were arrested at the Beitbridge Border Post in July after they allegedly attempted to transport two vehicles to Malawi using fraudulent bank documents. Their lawyer, Lufuno Tshinavhe, informed the court that Phiri intends to plead guilty to the charges. “We may remand the matter to Friday, but I must place on record that our intention in regard to this accused person is to plead guilty and let the matter finalise. The matter will be postponed for the possible joinder of charges.” -Reporting by Nsuku Shiluvana VIDEO | Two employees of businessman Suliman Carrim appear in the Musina Magistrates’ Court:
